Vintage Coral and Silver Tower Ring from the Yemen Size 8 3/4

A beautiful coral and silver Yemeni ring. It is from the early part of the twentieth century and is made from high-grade silver. Towering at its middle is a genuine coral cabochon set in a high smooth bezel and held in place with a silver granulated stud. The red color is associated with protective qualities in Bedouin culture. The shank is very ornate and the whole ring is decorated with silver granulation and roping.
