Antique Omani Baluchi Silver Crescent Silver Bracelet
This is a unique Omani bracelet from the late 19th century and early 20th century. This cuff is known locally as Kamar (moon) because of its crescent shape. It is made with high-grade silver and has a faint gold wash and is decorated with hand-incised patterns. from the late 19th Century, early 20th Century. This type of bracelet was made for children and was worn by both boys and girls. It is very similar to Baluchistan bracelets. That is because its origin is in the Baluchi people living in Muscat and Mutrah in Oman, but also in Yemen.

The bracelet is in good condition and lovely to wear. The Inner circumference is 16 cm (6 1/2") including a 2.5 cm (1") gap. The inner diameter is 5.5 cm (2 1/8"). Weight is 68.1 g.
