Antique Ottoman Belt, Brass Balkan Velvet Lined Women's Belt

Antique Ottoman belt for Women. Part of a traditional costume from the Balkan region, I think Bulgaria is the source of this belt. The belt is made of heavy cast brass metal links ending in an oblong buckle. The belt has black velvet lining and closes with a hook and eye mechanism. In good antique condition, but the lining is coming off in a few places and there are some loose threads.

• Width is 5 cm or 2” while the buckle is 9.5 cm or 3” wide.
