Antique Ottoman Hinged Bangle Bracelet with a Small Red Cabochon

A lovely simple Ottoman Turkish bracelet most likely from Istanbul. it is quite rigid and has a hinge to allow for easy wear. The barrel like closure closes with a push pin that is attached to the bracelet with a safety chain. The body of the bracelet is decorated with three rows of twisted wire. There is a lozenge like element that hides the closure and is adorned with a small red cabochon. Pretty and in good vintage condition.

Inner circumference is 17 cm ( 6 5/8"). Inner diameter is 5.2 cm (just over 2"). Width is 1.5 cm (5/8"). Weight is 41.4 g.
