This single Moroccan earring is from the 19th century or early twentieth century.  The earring features a raised circular central section that has dark blue, green, and red glass insets. This is flanked by smaller elements, each with a glass inset.  The earring tests as high-grade silver. The hoop is marked with the Moroccan ram silver hallmark. A chain (not silver) was added to the ends to change the earring into a wearable bracelet.

The earring resembles earrings from Tetuan shown in the Museum Quai Branly. but could also come from Fes or Meknes. The last picture shows an old postcard of a woman wearing similar earrings.
