Silver Indian Amulet Necklace With Antique Silver Coins

A beautiful amulet necklace from India. The amulet is rectangular in shape and has applique decorations. On the cotton threads that make the "chain" of this necklace, rupee coins are threaded, two on each side. The rupees are worn silver King George coins and date from 1913. The necklace tests as high-grade silver and is a slip-on with a knot that can be adjusted according to the desired length.

The total length of the necklace at present is 86 cm (34"), and the pendant is 6.5 x 5 cm ( 2  1/2 x 2"). The coins have a 3 cm diameter. The weight of the necklace is 125 g.
