Small Bedouin Pendant

A mid-century Bedouin hirz pendant. This type of pendant is likely a component of a big necklace that is common in both Yemen and Saudi Arabia. It is made in a cylindrical shape with a double bail. The sealed ends have loops for dangles that are missing on either end. The middle is decorated with spirals of wire. The pendant has two dangles and is in  reasonable vintage condition, with small dents and some missing roping.

• The width is 4.5 cm (1 3/4 ").
• The height from the top of the bails to the bottom of dangles is 7 cm (2  3/4").
• Weight is 13.6 g.
