Vintage Miao Bangle Bracelet

A lovely statement tribal bangle from the the Miao people from the second half of the twentieth century.  The construction is minimalist and elegant.  A solid piece of metal is worked into a tube that tapers and is wound on the other end.  This type of bracelet was made by melting coins and so silver content is variable.  This one looks like it has more copper than silver.  It has a bronze sheen to it.  In good vintage condition.

•  Inner circumference is 19 cm (7 3/8").
• Inner diameter is 6.5 cm (2 1/2"). 
• Width is 8 mm (1/4") and 1 cm (1/2") at the front.
• Weight is about 51.6 grams.
