This is really a beautiful bracelet from Egypt. It is made in the Ottoman tradition with 14 rows of linked chains connecting two filigree panels with a carnelian cabochon at the center. The last filigree panel hides the push pin closure and has a carnelian cabochon at each side. The filigree work is exquisite as are the handmade beads that make up the chains that link the panels.

The filigree panels are stamped with the Egyptian hallmark identifying the bracelet as made in Cairo between 1936 and 1937 from 80% pure silver. The bracelet is in good vintage and is really a delicate and beautiful piece of jewelry.

Length 17 cm (6 3/4"). Width is 4.5 cm (1 3/4") and weight is 45 g.
