Vintage Silver and Coral Berber Necklace from Tunisia

A gorgeous silver and coral Berber necklace from Tunisia with a triangular cast pendant with 13 chains of variable lengths ending in Hand of Fatima and diamond dangles. The pendant  has three faceted red glass cabochons on all three corners. It is most likely from Djerba, Tunisia and the pendant may in fact be a chachaghir, an ornament worn on the hair. It is from the 1940s and is in good vintage condition except for the fact that it is missing one dangle.

• Pendant length is 7.2 cm (2 6/7"), the chains add another 13 cm (5 1/2").
