This lovely silver bracelet comes from the first half of the 20th century. It is made of three rows of four-petalled rosettes linked together with jump rings. The front panels are gold gilt and held together by a pin closure that does not look like it is original to the bracelet. An authentic example of late Ottoman jewelry. The bracelet is handmade in a low-grade silver alloy. The bracelet is known locally as bilesik or "compound" bracelet and is in good condition.
