Vintage Turkish Caucasian Style Sterling Silver and Enamel Choker

This is a  gorgeous choker necklace made in the old Caucasian-inspired style by skilled Turkish silversmiths. The links are made of gold gilt sterling and then threaded onto a leather band which allows the choker its flexibility. The clasp is a hidden barrel mechanism and works perfectly. The links are decorated with the tulip motif, a known motif for the Ottoman empire. Each medallion is marked "925" in a diamond cartouche.  This necklace is beautiful and unique and is bound to please the one you love (yourself included).  In excellent vintage condition with little wear to the gold gilt and enamel.
