Vintage Turkish Sterling Silver and Niello Choker Necklace

Chic necklace made in Turkey in the 1940s or 50s from 925 sterling silver with niello . The necklace is made up of 6 foxtail chains held together by round nielloed medallions with pretty arabesque patterns. The chains end at the central large oval nielloed medallion and form a tassel at the end. The back of the clasp is marked "925" and is a hook and eye mechanism that may be a replacement of an original one. Excellent quality necklace and very elegant. 

Length is 45 cm (17 3/4"). The main medallion is 4 x 2.7 cm (1 1/2 x 1 1/8"). The tassels drop 5 cm (2").  Weight is 73.6 g.
