A classic red glass and base metals Bedouin ring from the 1950s. It has a round redglass cabochon set in a plain bezel. This ring is known as a fatkh ring and was thought to have protective powers for its wearer.
The shank is made of four thin wires, connected at intervals. The bezel is worn around the glass cabochon. The glass has quite a few scratches.
The face measures 1.8 cm (3/4"). It is size 5 and weighs 6.2g.
