This lovely Bedouin temple or hair decoration is circa the 1940s or 50s, probably worn to adorn the sides of the head by hooking into the headdress. The metal does not test as silver.
The cage-like dome has chains hanging from the bottom, ending in ball dangles. The effect is an excellent sound with movement.
The length from the top of the ring to the bottom of the dangles is 20 cm (8").
The dome's diameter is 2.5 - 3 cm (around 1 - 1 1/8").
