Vintage Saudi Arabian Necklace With Coins, Silver, Metal and Coral Glass Beads

This is a Bedouin necklace from Saudi Arabia from the second half of the Twentieth Century. It is made of four tiers of stringed tube metal and low-grade silver beads with larger silver accent beads interspersed with coral-colored glass beads. Saudi Arabian coins are the pendants on the last tier. Their age is 1376 Hijri to 1392 Hijri (1956- 1972 AD). The strands come together at either end and end in silver triangular finials with nice granulation and filigree. The necklace ties around the neck with twine.

The wearable length is 44 cm (17 1/4"). The drop is 13 cm (5"). Weight is 165 g.
