A gorgeous coral and silver Yemeni ring from the first half of the twentieth century. It is made from high-grade silver and features five genuine coral cabochons set in a high bezels in a circle around a granulated silver drop. The pattern suggests a flower. The red color is associated with protective qualities in Bedouin culture. The shank is quite thin and very ornate with silver granulation and applique work.
