Antique Silver and Coral Berber Earrings from Morocco
This is a very pretty small pair of Berber earrings from Morocco from the late 19th century - early 20th century. They come from the North of the country and are made of silver hoops with real Mediterranean coral dangles. Each earring has a glass cabochon at the front.
They have been adapted to be worn in our modern times, a hook has been added with ear hooks that have a safety catch. Normally they would have been worn through the ears. The ear wires are also made of silver.
Hoop diameter is 2.2 (7/8"). They dangle 9 cm (3 1/2") from top of ear hooks to bottom of dangle. Weight is 26 g.
