Antique Central Asian Silver Tajik Earrings
A beautiful old pair of Tajik earrings from the late 19th century or early 20th century. Each earring is fashioned as an inverted pyramid each pyramid is made of three handmade beads. There is a blue bead on the front of the long looped earwires. The earrings test as good silver and have thicker than standard ear wires as is common for tribal earrings. This type of earrings was worn by Tajik and Uzbek women. There may have been dangles as there are small loops at the end of the three beads. In lovely condition.
