This is a beautiful example of Victorian bypass bracelets. I believe the bracelet's finials are stylized snake heads. The Victorians had a special attachment to snakes in their jewelry as the snake was taken as a symbol of infinite love.

This beauty has lovely intricate granulation and roping work on the parts of the body closest to the finials. The finials themselves have an almost modern sculptural look, painstakingly done by hammering little diamond patterns from the inside out.

Though this bracelet is unmarked, it tests as silver. I believe the hallmark which is typically on the back of the heads may have worn out with wear.

The bracelet is in good antique condition but there is some loss to the granulation and a very small ding to the body.
