Egyptian Silver Adjustable Ring with Arabic Calligraphy

This beautiful silver ring is originally from Egypt and features Arabic calligraphy that reads مودة ورحمة, which translates to "affection and mercy." The calligraphy is overlaid on a round base, and the thick adjustable band is stamped with the 3-part Egyptian hallmark, indicating the purity of silver (80%) and that it was assayed in Cairo in the early 1980s. It is in excellent vintage condition and only requires a gentle polish. The diameter of the ring is 2.5 cm (1 inch), the closed band size is 6, and it weighs 12 grams.
