A lovely gold plated silver filigree bracelet made in the 1940s or 50s in Egypt with an Egyptian revival theme. The bracelet has seven panels.  The middle one has a figure of a winged goddess overlaid over the filigree. Each panel is marked with the Egyptian assay mark for 800 silver.

Filigree work is quite intricate and time consuming and is an old tradition in Egypt going back to the 9th or 10th century.
