A lovely gold-plated silver filigree bracelet made in the 1940s or 50s in Egypt with an Egyptian revival theme. The bracelet has seven panels.  The middle one has a figure of a winged goddess overlaid over the filigree. Each panel is marked with the Egyptian assay mark for 800 silver.

Filigree work is quite intricate and time-consuming and is an old tradition in Egypt going back to the 9th or 10th century.
