Matching Pair of Silver Palestinian Bracelets
A matching pair of Palestinian bracelets. Made by a local silversmith from sterling silver. He has copied an old style called Mabareem worn by urban as well as peasant and Bedouin women. This pair has hand etched detailing on the frond-shaped finials. The body is made of a couple of loosely twisted silver wire rods. The last picture shows a Palestinian woman wearing such bracelets.
Elegant and classic, these bracelets can be adjusted around the wrist and worn with the finials closed or open and even as a bypass bracelet. They are made of sterling silver.
- Inner circumference is 18 cm or 6 3/4" closed (adjustable).
- Inner diameter is 6 cm or 2 1/4".
- Width is 1.8 cm (3/4") at widest.
- Weight for both bracelets is 52.5 grams.
