Omani Silver Pendant

This pretty pendant is made in Oman by expert silversmiths in the later decades of the twentieth century. It was made for the tourist market but still displays the power of Omani jewelry. The pendant is round with a large bail. It is convex with a repousse flower in the middle surrounded by applique, roping, and granulation. The back is stamped "Oman 925." It is in fine condition.

Diameter is 3 cm (11/4"). Weight is 8.5 g.
