Simple Small Indian Silver Hoop Earrings
A simple pair of Indian silver hoop earrings. They are made of silver and are from the second part of the twentieth century. They hail from Gujarat. They could also work as nose rings. Each earring is made from a single silver wire. On one it is looped to make a closure and on the other, it is hammered thin so the wire can go into the ear easier.
This small hoop is versatile and while traditionally it was worn by women, it can today be worn by men as well through the ear, or the nose. The earrings are in good vintage condition.
The hoop's diameter is 2.5 cm (1") and weight is 2.7 g.
