Vintage Twisted Wire Snake Bracelet
A beautiful handmade twisted wire bracelet from the second part of the twentieth century. I am not exactly sure where it's from. There are several countries that did this type of work: Mexico, India, and Egypt. It looks most like Mexican work. It is unmarked, however. The head is made of repousse silver with silver granules for eyes. The body is entirely made of loop-in-loop twisted wire. The wire does not test as silver. There are two repousse flowers near the head and the end of the bracelet. The bracelet closes with a hook and eye mechanism.
