This is a classic single-coil Victorian carved horn snake bracelet with double coils. It has two small mother of pearl eyes and some hand carved chevrons near the head. Good condition for an antique bracele. The bracelet is quite large and could be worn higher up on the arm.
Victorians valued snakes as a motif in jewelry. Snakes in many cultures symbolize sexuality, eternal love, regeneration and protection.
