Vintage 800 Silver Repousse Dangle Egyptian Earrings

A nice pair of silver repousse Egyptian dangle earrings. They have beautiful arabesque designs achieved by hammering against a mold. The earrings were made from 80% silver. Assay marks can be found on the ear wires and one of the dangles on each earring. The earrings are likely from the late 1950s or early 1960s. They are shaped like a teardrop with five dangles: stylized fingers to protect from envy. The earrings are in good vintage condition.

Dimensions:

• The length from the top of the ear wires to the bottom of dangles is 7 cm (2 3/4").
• The width is 2.5 cm (1") at the widest.
• Weight is 12 g.
