A mid twentieth-century double triangle pendant. It is made in a style that is common to both Yemen and Saudi Arabia Bedouins. The triangular shape in Bedouin culture is amuletic, as is the red color of the beads.
I think that this particular pendant is Saudi in origin. It is made of a brassy mix of metals and decorated with two red glass cabochons. There are also roping and applique diamond snf circular shapes and two chains from the top triangular pendant and nine chains with bell-like dangles from the bottom. It would look great worn as a pendant or in a shadow box for display.
Pendant is 27.5 cm long with dangles (10 3/4") and 11.5 cm at its widest (4 1/2")
