Vintage Egyptian Panel Bracelet made with 800 Silver and Turquoise
This is an impressive Egyptian silver bracelet with very intricate repousse and overlay work. The panels are connected with barrel hinges and each has hand sawed open work. In the middle of each panel there is a square platform of silver on which two turquoises are set in a bezel made of wound silver wire.
The bracelet has the Cairo assay mark for 80% pure silver, and is from the 1930s or 40s, beautifully made and lovely on. In good vintage condition. One of the small repousse elements is missing and another has a depression.
