Vintage Middle East Multi Gem Silver Ring
This is a beautiful multi gem silver ring from the Middle East. It has eight small gems surrounding a rather bigger red colored gem which may be a ruby. What I recognize from the small gems are coral, moon stone and pearl. There are other gems that I did not identify: an orange, clear, sapphire blue, and a jade green stone. A yellow stone tests positive on a diamond tester and may in fact be a rough yellow diamond, but I can not say for sure as these testers sometimes mistake moisettes for diamond. The stones have some scratches, but the ring is generally in good condition. The shank has hand etched markings.
- Oval face measures 2.3 x 2 cm (just under 1" x 3/4").
- Size 7 3/4 but because of its structure can accommodate a bigger size finger as the mandrel does not measure the space underneath the ring. The inner circumference of the band is 60mm which is more like a size 9 1/2
- Weight is 7.3 g.
