Vintage Middle East Sterling Silver, Gold Gilt and Turquoise Filigree Necklace
A lacey Middle East necklace made in the 1940s or 50s from sterling silver and plated with gold. The necklace is very delicate and made in the old Ottoman style using the four petal link element. The top and bottom tier are decorated with fine rosette centers. The middle tier has turquoise cabochon centers. From the bottom tier hang small disc pendants The necklace closes with a spring jump ring closure. Marked silver 925 on the back. The necklace is in fine vintage condition but one of the rosettes has lost its central drop.
