Vintage Single Bicone Shaped Silver Omani Earring

Single silver Omani earring.  Locally it's known as ghalamiya. It is hollow and bicone in shape with a band in the middle delineated with granulation. The body of the earring also has lovely granulation work and the earring ends with a mini pyramid of silver balls. The ear wire is a silver wire with a hole at the end. This type of earrings was worn in pairs by women of northern Oman. Similar earrings also exist in Southern Hadramout in Yemen.It is made of good grade silver.
