Vintage Silver Berber Hoop Earrings Set from Morocco
Vintage Silver Berber Hoop Earrings Set from Morocco
This complete Berber silver hoop earrings set comes from Ouerzazate in Morocco and it's from the first half of the twentieth century. The set includes two silver hoop earrings with dark blue glass. From the bottom of the hoops are handmade filigree spherical beads from which hang filigree dangles that could be stylized hands of Fatima. The two earrings are connected by handmade chains that are in turn connected to an element with a glass cabochon. This pendant has a hook that connects to the headdress. The earrings set is complete and it is in its original uncleaned condition. All the components test as silver.
