Vintage Silver Egyptian Hieroglyphics Statement Choker Necklace

A striking silver choker necklace from Egypt from the second half of the twentieth century. It has three connected plates of silver. These are adorned with lotus, Ankh key of life, Horus eye, hieroglyphics type applique silver over a blackened background. The necklace has a thick chain that ends in a hook and eye closure. The hook carries the three-part Egyptian hallmark. The necklace, in addition, carries several assay marks for 800 silver.  It tests as silver. The necklace is in great vintage condition.

• Length of the plate is 12.5 cm or just under 5".
• The depth of pendant is 7 cm (2 3/4").
