This is a beautiful sterling adjustable ring with a central round carnelian. It is worked in fine filigree. The style is that of Yemeni silversmiths who migrated to Israel and developed this unique style. The ring is marked 925. It has stress marks on either side of the cabochon (see pix), but is otherwise in reasonable vintage condition and looks lovely on.
The ring closed is size 8 1/2 but slightly adjustable. The carnelian measures 9 mm (just under 3/8") in diameter and weighs 5.2 grams.
