Vintage Tuareg Silver Necklace with Southern Cross Signed
A lovely simple Southern cross or Croix du Sud pendant necklace from the second part of the twentieth century. It is made by the Tuareg people. The cross pendant has some lovely hand incised patterns that are supposed to have some symbolic meaning that has now been forgotten. The necklace has onyx or glass beads as well as long silver tube beads. It is signed on the back and does test as silver. In good vintage condition and closes with an eye and hook mechanism.
