Vintage Tunisian Silver Cuff Bracelet
A lovely example of Berber Jewelry: Tunisian silver cuff bracelet. The cuff has hand incised patterns of fish, a common motif in Berber jewelry, thought to bring fertility to its wearer. A similar example can be seen in Anne Van Cutsem's book A World of Bracelets. It has the number 6 stamped on its inside, an old sizing system for Tunisia bracelets. It also has various maker marks, that are too worn to be legible. The bracelet is from the first part of the twentieth century and is made of high grade silver. In good vintage condition and well worn with age.
