Vintage Yemeni Bedouin Silver Ring - Size 9 1/2

This hefty Yemeni Bedouin ring makes a statement. It is made from high-grade silver and features a bright red-colored ceramic or glass bead set in a high bezel. Red is a highly prized color with protective qualities in Bedouin culture. The shank of the ring is decorated with impressive granulation and roping. A silver stud holds the cabochon in place. This lovely ring, worn in both Yemen and Saudi Arabia, is from the mid-20th century and is in fine vintage condition.
