This is a beautiful Bosnian silver chain bracelet known locally as Belenzuka. It is from the late 19th century or early 20th century. This bracelet style originated in Bosnia, in the former Yugoslavia, and spread through the Balkans under Ottoman rule.  There are Western European bracelets and necklaces whose style echoes this type of Balkan jewelry.

The Bosnian silversmiths were traditionally known for their fine filigree and this bracelet has a lovely front panel worked in exquisite silver filigree which has a gold gilt.  The panel hides the push pin closure and is decorated with faceted colored glass.

There are 10 chains to this bracelet.  The bracelet is silver and has an assay mark that I could not identify.  The bracelet is in fine antique condition.
