Called a Boghdad, this lovely antique silver cross pendant from Morocco is beautifully made from silver and decorated with little florets. From the late 19th century, early 20th century. It has had a repair to the bail which is traditionally box like rather than barrel shaped as it is now. A similar cross can be seen in the Musee du Quai Branly's online collection N° inventaire : 74.1999.27.94
