Victorian Brooch, Silver with Swallow Bird and Crescent Moon

This is such a delightful little Victorian brooch.  It was very popular in the Victorian and Art Deco era to wear such brooches. This one has the figure of a crescent moon and a bird, perhaps a swallow across it. The brooch is made of silver (tested) and is decorated with paste of graduated size. The pin works well and it is generally in good vintage condition.

the brooch is 2.2 cm (7/8") across. Weight is 3.1 g.
