A fantastic pair of Egyptian Chandelier Silver earrings from the Mid Century. The earrings are formed in the star and crescent moon motif. The top part is shaped from filigree as a star and is decorated with silver domes that surround the turquoise glass cabochon. The lower part is also made of intricate filigree and shaped as a crescent moon and adorned with three turquoise glass cabochons. From the bottom dangle five disc dangles, each stamped with the Egyptian assay mark for 80% pure silver. The earrings are clip ons and the mechanism works well.
