A matching pair of Palestinian bracelets. Made by a local silversmith from sterling silver. He has copied an old style called Mabareem worn by urban, peasant, and Bedouin women. This pair has hand-etched detailing on the frond-shaped finials. The body is made of a couple of loosely twisted silver wire rods. The last picture shows a Palestinian woman wearing such bracelets.
Elegant and classic, these bracelets can be adjusted around the wrist and worn with the finials closed or open and even as a bypass bracelet. They are made of sterling silver and have a "925" stamp.
The inner circumference is 17.5 cm or 6 7/8" closed (adjustable).
