Traditional Salamanca Charro Button Silver Choker Necklace

A delicate sterling silver vintage Charro button necklace. It's made of three Charro button elements of silver with a fine chain connecting them to the spring ring closure. The closure is marked ADENSA 925.  The domes on this necklace were inspired by the Charro buttons of Salamanca in Spain. The classic Charro button dates back to the 16th Century. It uses filigree techniques and has been incorporated into contemporary items of jewelry to this day.
