A lovely example of Bedouin jewelry is this Yemeni silver ring. It is made from mixed metals with possibly low-grade silver and features a coral colored stone bead set in a high bezel. Red color is associated with protective qualities in Bedouin culture. The thick shank is very ornate and decorated with granulation.
