An old mid-century cylindrical hirz pendant. This type of pendant is likely a component of a big necklace that is common in both Yemen and Saudi Arabia. It is made in a cylindrical shape and decorated with roping. It has five dangles representing the five protective fingers of the hand-of-Fatima. The pendant has two bails to thread a cord through. It is made of mixed metals and in a reasonable vintage condition.

The pendant measures 8.3 x 6.5 cm (3 1/4 x 2 1/2") . Weight is 45 g.
