Vintage Berber Tunisian Silver Snake Bracelet

This beautiful Berber snake bracelet is I believe Tunisian. It is locally called brim meaning wound up because it is made of twisted silver thick wire. The finials are two snakeheads that come together with a hook through which one of the ends can slide to enlarge the opening. The snake has a protective function in jewelry. The bracelet is not marked but tested with an acid scratch test and confirmed to be silver. The bracelet is rare and in good vintage condition.

• The inner diameter is 6.5 cm or 2 1/2" expandable to 7 cm or 2 3/4".
• The inner circumference is 18.5 cm or 7 1/4 expandable to 19.5 cm or 7 3/4".
• The width of the twisted wire is 4 mm or less than1/4 inches.
• Weight is 22 grams.
