This vintage gold gilt filigree telsum necklace from Ethiopia and Eritrea is in good condition. It features 20 pendants of 4 shapes - rectangular, triangular, circular, and semi-circular - which are threaded onto a red wool cord. The pendant and barrel beads are crafted of a low silver alloy using exquisite filigree work, and range in size from 1.5 x 1.5 cm to 2 x 2 cm. The length of the necklace is 57 cm (22 1/2") and it has a slip-on closure. The necklace weighs in at 96 g.
