A beautiful Early Navajo Morgan Dollar necklace. The coin itself acts as the central pendant is convex, so that it lies flat when worn. The Morgan dollar was produced from 1878-1921 and its composition is 90% pure silver and 10% copper. This coin has no mint mark which means that it was minted in Philadelphia. The necklace also has 48 silver round hollow bench beads and two tube or melon beads. It closes with a simple hand made eye and hook mechanism. Unmarked but all tested positive for silver. In good vintage condition with patina.
- The dollar pendant measures 3.5 (1 1/2") across.
- Length is 43 cm (17").
- Weight is 55 g.
